Objective
Build and program a robot that simulates a rover on Mars.
Be able to:
Navigate various terrains.
Detect differences in precious metals (represented by wiffleballs and blocks).
Retrieve precious metals.
Descend from and climb onto landing pod.

What I did
Worked on the robot's mechanics and electronics as a builder and providing help with programming.
Maintained detailed notebook of our progress and devised plans in large meetings.
Managed team at competitions.
Results
Placed 4th in state competition.
Berrard was a very competitive robot and fulfilled all the objectives.
Lesson learned: Check, double check, and triple check wireless and electronic connections.
